Join us as we go through the steps it takes to successfully post a volunteer opportunity on our database. Learn how the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership’s various programs can help you connect with volunteers and strengthen your own programs.
The Center’s website receives over 3000 hits monthly from prospective volunteers looking for opportunities, and this workshop will provide an introduction on:
- Writing a catchy volunteer opportunity
- The basics of recruiting and managing volunteers using our volunteer database
- The Center’s role as an emergency volunteer center (EVC) during a disaster and how your agency can be better prepared to handle volunteers during those times
